> Change your name and password, and choose how Envocal Studio looks (light, dark or your computer's setting), from Settings in the user menu.

Your own settings are under **Settings** in the user menu: click your initials in the top right corner of
Envocal Studio, then **Settings**. They apply to you only, in every tenant you work in. The settings have
three sections: **Profile**, **Security** and **Appearance**.

## Profile

Your **First name** and **Last name**, as they appear in the Studio: in the user menu, and in the user lists
Admins see under **Admin**. Change them and click **Save**. **Save** becomes available once you've changed
something, and both names are required.

Your **Email** is shown but can't be changed: it's the address you sign in with.

## Security

Change the password you sign in with.

### 1. Open Security

In **Settings**, click **Security**.

### 2. Enter your passwords

Enter your **Current password**, then your new password in **New password** and again in
**Repeat new password**.

### 3. Click Change password

You stay signed in where you are. On your other computers and browsers you're signed out within 30 minutes,
and you sign in there with the new password.

**I forgot my password**

On the sign-in page, click **Forgot your password?**, enter your email and click **Send reset link**. The email
has a link to a page where you choose a new password.

**Why does it say Incorrect password or Too many attempts?**

**Incorrect password** means the **Current password** you entered is wrong; nothing was changed. After many
attempts in a short time, the Studio shows **Too many attempts. Try again in a minute.** and accepts the next
attempt after a minute. This protects your account against someone guessing your password.

## Appearance

Choose how the Studio looks to you:

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| **System** | Follows your computer's light or dark setting, also when it switches during the day. This is the default. |
| **Light** | Always light. |
| **Dark** | Always dark. |

Click an option and it applies straight away; there's nothing to save. Your choice is saved to your account, so
the Studio looks the same in every browser you sign in to.

The button next to your initials in the top bar opens the same three options. Its icon shows your choice: a
monitor for **System**, a sun for **Light**, a moon for **Dark**.

**What does the sign-in page use?**

Before you sign in, the Studio doesn't know who you are yet, so the sign-in page uses the last choice made in
that browser, or your computer's setting if there is none. After you sign in, your saved choice takes over.
